After appearing all over the catwalks of Emanuel Ungaro, Roberto Cavalli, Lacoste and Wang, one of spring’s biggest hairstyle trends is plaits - though definitely not the Heidi/schoolgirl variety! The 2010 version is a sexy, single braid, worn loose, louche, low and over one shoulder. The trick is to start braiding loosely from the mid-lengths, getting tighter towards the ends, and also to sprinkle it with mattifying powder for the most fashionable finish.
